In our last Tech Talk article, we took a look at one of the most versatile fabrication materials on the market today: Telespar. In this edition of Tech Talk, we will explore the Telespar Sign Post System.
The Telespar Sign Post System is available in two post styles; galvanized steel tubing with perforated holes on all four sides and Qwik-Punch® posts, which are made with 7/16” knockouts, 1” on the center, on all four sides. Thanks to a unique manufacturing process, the system permits tubular sections of different sizes to telescope into the next larger size. The Telespar Sign Post System is complemented by a variety of compatible fittings, accessories, nuts, bolts and simple installation tools. This engineered system of integrated parts enables you to mount signs back-to-back and on adjacent sides. Telespar Sign Post is designed to make adjustment, reinforcement and splicing fast and easy. By utilizing a square tube, Telespar demonstrates superior wind load capabilities and torsional stability. Although the system is primarily designed for signpost usage Telespar is also adaptable to identification signage, parking meter posts, barricades and numerous other applications.
