This specialized socket head fits standard 1/2" drive ratchet handles and power tools, allowing contractors to attach standard sizes of Unistrut channel directly to walls, floors, and ceilings, without the use of brackets. The innovative, time-saving design of the Channel socket allows for unobstructed channel access, resulting in strong connections that are completed with ease.
The Channel Socket is specifically designed for “T” series slotted channels (P1000t, P5500t, P1001t, P5000t, etc). T series slot is designed for ½” hardware, which has a ¾” head. A standard ¾” socket will not fit within the inturned edges of the channel, making it difficult to tighten the bolt. This tool eliminates the need for custom fabricated sockets or fighting with a wrench to tighten the bolt. The Channel Socket is available in two sizes and works with 1-5/8", 2-7/16", and 3-1/4" deep channels.
