Portable Davit Base

This Portable Davit base system combines the secure connection of a fixed system with the portability of a temporary unit. Also, unlike most portable davit solutions, our portable davit base has wheels so it’s easy to maneuver through most any work area by a single person. Not only that, the system’s compact base makes it easy to store when you’re not using it.

Each portable davit base system comes with everything you need to install quickly. There are four threaded concrete inserts, four bolts, and four protective cap screws. To install, simply clear a space for the base, install the concrete inserts, align the base holes with the newly installed concrete inserts, and secure the unit into the inserts with the included bolts.

When your work is complete, loosen and remove the bolts, tip the base to engage the wheels, and roll the unit to your storage area. To keep dirt and grease from getting into the insert threads when the portable davit base is not in operational position, insert and tighten the cap screws into the concrete inserts.  Please note that the Davit Arm for this system is sold separately.
